el chay {the living God}

Ann, the oncology nurse, called to push the day for my chemo admittance back one more week to March 5.
Wednesday night I began seeking God how to prepare myself for next week’s treatment. What weapon(s) would I need to be ready? How would I need to equip myself? After two reactions, it seemed clear that treatment would not be “business as usual” even while in the hospital.

Thursday, I laid the next chemotherapy before the Living God like Hezekiah opened Sennacherib’s threat before the Lord in 1 Kings 19:14.
And Hezekiah received the letter by the hand of the messengers, and read it; and Hezekiah went up into the house of the Lord, and spread it before the Lord.
Praying, I gave the session scheduled for 2/26 into God’s hands, trusting Him to handle everything. Since I want an undeniable testimony that our God is a healer TODAY, this break is a great opportunity to show He’s moving without a shadow of doubt.

After spending a time in prayer, my admittance to the hospital has been rescheduled for a week later. With a full month since the last complete chemotherapy, God has to receive the glory for the state of my health!
