It is what it is #thestruggleisreal

M received us in MICU; dinner was ordered and we settled in to start the sensitive second part of the March 5 chemo, the taxol. The IV would require 18 hours to complete and needed to be started by the famous IV TEAM for the shift which consisted of L and N. They would hang 100ml bag of fluid containing only 0.3mg of taxol to run for an hour and a half.

At 6:30 p.m. L and N start the beginning and smallest dose of taxol. At 6:45 p.m. or so throbbing started in both my legs, not alarming, but I alerted my nurse since that was the reaction which aborted the previous chemo. M stopped the IV as the throbbing increased in intensity. It gradually stopped while waiting for the resident on call so we could determine our course of action.

He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Psalm 23:2

I never really considered this verse before. Have you? As He leads us, He guides us in His righteousness. That means He makes the way possible and shows us how to walk in that right standing with Him.

In MICU, waiting that night, a scripture jumped out from the book I was reading, Wigglesworth on the Anointing.

Psalm 46:10 Be still and KNOW that I am God. And I will be exalted.
